Benterud skole is a new, modern primary school in Hønefoss, Ringerike municipality, serving grades 1‑7 with a dedicated special‑needs department called Hjerterommet. The school employs around 80 staff members and educates about 360 pupils, with capacity to expand to 550. Opened on 3 January 2019, it occupies over 10000 m² near the town hall and offers a range of educational, health, and extracurricular services, including SFO, digital communication tools, and various school‑wide initiatives.
