Akvamira is a non‑profit association based in Mo i Rana, Norway, dedicated to promoting mermaiding and visual sea‑related art. The group serves as a community hub for members and enthusiasts, offering workshops, water training, social gatherings, environmental projects, and creative performances that blend mermaid themes with music, light, and movement. While still in its early stages without a permanent training facility, Akvamira plans to expand its activities, including beach clean‑ups, photoshoots, ice‑bathing events, and visual art installations. Membership provides access to events, training, and the chance to shape the organization’s growth, with all proceeds supporting the association’s initiatives.
