Sparebankstiftelsen DNB is an independent philanthropic foundation that owns about 8.5 % of DNB’s shares and uses the dividend income to fund public‑benefit projects in Norway. Since 2002 it has contributed NOK 13.4 billion to initiatives for children and youth, supporting activities in art, culture, outdoor life, sport, nature education, community projects and cultural heritage. The foundation provides both local and national grants, with application deadlines throughout the year, and offers a portal for applications, payments and final reporting.
